The AM Club: 6-Week NEW Habit Challenge!

This time of year many attempt to take up a new habit that improves their life.

Stop Making New Year's Resolutions That You Won't Complete

Research suggests that only 9% of Americans who make resolutions, complete them. In fact, *research goes on to show that 23% of people quit their resolutions by the end of the first week, and 43% quit by the end of January! These are pretty terrible numbers. The reason there is such a huge failure rate is because:

  1. You are setting too high of a goal, or something that will take time to achieve and when you don't see or feel those results immediately, you lose motivation and ultimately give up.

  2. You do not have a plan. You have this high goal but don’t know the small necessary steps to take to get there.

  3. You have no guide or support. You set these goals with no direction and no support system.

What Makes A Resolution Successful?

GOAL - You have your ultimate goal such as losing 10 lbs, for instance. Now, break it down into a concrete action plan, like committing to working out three times a week. Schedule these sessions on your calendar with specific days and times, treating them as you would any other important meeting or appointment in your life.

Plan - if you are going to work out 3 times a week, what kind of workout should you be doing so that you do in fact lose weight? This is important.
When you have a specific goal, you should have a specific plan. Generally speaking to our audience reading this, you should have a goal of strength training as this will burn fat and create lean muscle at the same time.

SUPPORT- You need to have a guide and support. As you get stronger in your efforts, your plan might need to change along the way. This is where having a guide will be valuable. Having a support system is also going to help you keep going. We already know motivation is really just enough to get you started, it is not enough to carry you through. When you have others on a similar journey and even surround yourself with those who have already established the discipline to keep going, this is going to rub off on you and help you finally succeed in YOUR resolution!

We have many women at Ola Ka Ola who started with us as their New Year's Resolution. Many will even tell you they don’t have resolutions anymore because the habit has already been established and here they are still going strong! We would love for you to experience this as well.

Instead of focusing on your long-term goal, start your resolution by creating the habit. Then it is never about motivation and time, it is a habit. It is something you just do. This is the drive and goal of the “I AM UP (for the challenge)“.

We Challenge you to Wake up With us for the Next 6 Weeks!

On our 6-week challenge, we challenge you to start your day with a fitness routine! Let’s keep your goal realistic to you, we can always build up to more after you have already established the habit of the basics. 3 times a week, start your day with a fitness routine.

Benefits of Starting Your Day With Movement:

It’s done and over, nothing can prevent you from getting your fitness routine in when you start your day this way.

You start your day with energy! Movement fuels movement, you will see.

You start your day with success! You just get up and have already accomplished so much! Think what an amazing domino effect this can have in your life.

Confidence - when starting your day this way, you mentally get a boost that you can face whatever your day brings.

It's going to be a challenge, yes! Anytime you add a new habit it is going to be a challenge. I am not shying away from that word as we are calling this the AM challenge!

I challenge YOU! I challenge you to get up 30 minutes earlier, 3 times a week to improve the quality of your life, to get closer to achieving your goal, and the opportunity to feel AMAZING! This is the biggest and the top improvement every woman will tell you once they have established this habit, they feel AMAZING on so many levels. There is strength and power from doing something hard. Getting up 30 minutes earlier is hard! But the return is 100% worth it and you will have no regrets!

You are not going to be alone, all my classes are in the morning, so I will be there with you. Other women who have already established themselves are going to be there with you to encourage you along and remind you that it can be done.

New women doing this for the first time will also be doing this with you. There is strength, there is power, and there is success in challenging yourself. I am challenging YOU to take on the I AM UP (for the challenge)!

Start your day, 3 times a week with movement, stay challenged for these 6 weeks, and watch what happens! Your body will want more. The start is the hard part.

What do you say, are you UP for the challenge? Let us help YOU become one of the 9% that succeed in their New Year's Resolution.

Once you sign up, you will receive your prep list to get mentally ready for how to prepare and succeed.

Yours,
Trainer Cheryl Coppa
