Six-Packs Are Very Nice But Having A Strong Core Means So Much More
Your core is simply the core of everything that you do. It stabilizes your body, allowing you to move in any direction as well as having better balance. It helps prevents falls and supports your body. Having osteoporosis, myself, my good balance is very important to me, as the last thing I want to do, is fall. I started training my core the day I found out I had osteoporosis, and I train my core every day since then. Recently, I also discovered that I have arthritis in my lower back. My lower back was always hurting me when I got up from my desk, chair, or couch. Since I have been training my core daily, my back pain is so much better because a strong core prevents lower-back pain. A Strong core improves the endurance of the muscles of your back, so you don’t fatigue easily and are less vulnerable to injury. I have noticed such a difference since my core became stronger.
A strong core helps with better quality posture too. I also think that a good posture makes you look leaner and just better. You will stand taller and aligned.
A strong core helps with functional strength as well, such as bending or tying your shoes. If your abs are weak, these things can become a chore.
If your core is weak, start off slowly, ask an expert to help you, and little by little you will see all of the benefits of what a strong core can do for you.
To help strengthen my clients' core muscles, I developed my online ab challenge with all fitness levels in mind. The moves are not complicated, and easy to follow. Anyone can do this! My clients (over 55) have achieved really amazing results (see photo above). We met LIVE every single day of the week (Monday through Friday) for 15 to 20 minutes. They were consistent, which is needed to get results, and they worked hard. Every day they became stronger and stronger. One of them has already decided to repeat the program because she enjoyed it so much and wants to achieve more results. I invite you all to join me in strengthening your core muscle and building a better and healthier body.
